Quant (QNT)
System: Quant — Interoperability and Messaging
Quant provides enterprise distributed ledger technology (DLT) interoperability for banks, corporates, capital markets participants and developers through Overledger, Fusion Rollup, Flow Apps, Quant Flow and QuantNet. Quant Network Ltd was incorporated in 2015; the system boundary includes Quant legal entities, service contracts, intellectual property, Overledger Gateway, Connectors, Quant Connect, Flow Apps, Overledger Firewall, Fusion Rollup contracts and QNT payment/staking surfaces.

Token Functionalities
Payments
- Native Resource Fee (Weak)
Right to consume Quant Ecosystem access resources by paying fees in QNT as the accepted token payment path. Strength is Weak because QNT is not the exclusive access path: card and invoice payment routes can also be used, and Flow Apps may price actions in non-QNT ERC-20 tokens.
System Attributes
Operating Model
<p>Quant is a Hybrid system. The off-chain side includes Quant legal entities, service contracts, bank accounts, the Overledger Gateway, API keys, Connectors, Quant Connect, Flow Apps, subscription billing and customer access controls. The on-chain side includes Fusion Rollup contracts, Fusion Firewall contracts, bridge contracts, token whitelist contracts and payment-gated Flow App settlement paths. The system depends on Quant-operated access, account and billing components while also using rollup contracts and connected-chain contracts to execute or enforce deposits, withdrawals, cross-chain messages, token permissions and payment-gated actions.</p>
Value Creation
<p>Quant has Hybrid Value Creation. Off-chain value is produced by the Overledger Gateway authenticating users, applying rate limits, enforcing API-key permissions, routing requests to Connectors or Fusion Rollup, and hosting Flow Apps that package business workflows for users, services and artificial intelligence agents. Connectors translate DLT-specific remote procedure call (RPC) requests, validate node health and select nodes using private-node preference, latency, error rate and other routing inputs. On-chain and rollup value is produced by Fusion Rollup contracts, Fusion Firewall contracts and connected-chain contracts that support deposits, withdrawals, unified assets, cross-chain messages and payment-gated settlement for Flow App actions.</p>
Value Capture
<p>Quant has Hybrid Value Capture and Routing. Off-chain capture occurs when customers pay subscription, usage or transaction fees to Quant contracting entities through the order process, card, invoice or QNT payment path; Quant controls pricing, order acceptance, access, throttling and suspension, and the final beneficiary is the relevant Quant legal entity. On-chain routing occurs where Flow Apps use x402 payment gates: the user signs a Permit2 message, the Gateway runs EVM settlement, and the app-declared recipient receives the payment. External network gas, miner and validator fees are excluded because customers pay those directly and Quant does not receive any portion.</p>
