RAILGUN is a transaction-privacy system for users and applications that need confidential token transfers, private balance storage and private smart-contract interactions on public blockchains. The system runs across Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible chains, including Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain and Arbitrum, using zero-knowledge proofs, private balance commitments and smart contracts to shield, transact and unshield assets. The system boundary includes the RAILGUN privacy contracts, private-balance state, governance, treasury, staking and rewards contracts, proof-generation tooling, software development kits and Broadcasters when they relay private transactions.

Governance

  • Economic Design/Parameter Control (Unilateral)

    Right to set or amend protocol deductions, fee routing and reward-routing parameters for the relevant RAILGUN deployment. This applies to RAIL, RAILPOLY and RAILBSC. The functionality has Unilateral strength because these economic parameters are governed through the relevant on-chain proposal and execution process.

  • Technical Parameter Control (Unilateral)

    Right to approve and execute changes to the relevant RAILGUN privacy-contract code and technical architecture. This applies to RAIL, RAILPOLY and RAILBSC for their respective deployment scopes. The functionality has Unilateral strength because approved proposals are executed through governance smart contracts and do not depend on a discretionary executor.

  • Treasury Control (Unilateral)

    Right to direct or distribute assets held in the relevant RAILGUN treasury and rewards system. This applies to RAIL, RAILPOLY and RAILBSC. The functionality has Unilateral strength because treasury distribution is a governance topic implemented through the relevant on-chain treasury and rewards contracts.

  • Product/Service Line Decisions (Partial)

    Right to approve deployment of RAILGUN to additional smart-contract blockchains. This functionality is assigned only to RAIL. It has Partial strength because additional chain deployment is a governance decision area, but execution can require implementation beyond the already deployed in-boundary contracts.

  • Process and Meta Parameter Control (Unilateral)

    Right to modify the governance, voting, staking and related decision-process contracts that define how RAILGUN governance operates. Value Distribution

  • Direct Entitlement (Algorithmic or Guaranteed)

    Right to claim a pro rata allocation of protocol deductions or treasury assets after locking the relevant RAIL-family token and satisfying the reward-claim conditions. This applies to RAIL, RAILPOLY and RAILBSC. The functionality has Algorithmic or Guaranteed strength because the distribution is implemented through the system’s recurring on-chain rewards mechanism rather than discretionary third-party reward selection.
