World Mobile provides mobile connectivity, phone plans, eSIM services and decentralised telecom participation through AirNodes, Network Builder Hex permits and World Mobile Chain. World Mobile Chain public mainnet launched in 2025 as an Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible Arbitrum Orbit Layer 3 settling on Base, with WMTx as the native gas token. The system boundary includes phone and eSIM services, AirNode hardware, World Mobile Chain, WMTx contracts, staking contracts, Network Builder Hex non-fungible tokens, EarthNode non-fungible token mechanics where evidenced, subscriber accounts, billing interfaces, reward contracts, treasury wallets and World Mobile legal entities.

Token Functionalities
Payments
- Native Resource Fee (Weak)
Right to consume World Mobile Chain transaction execution by paying WMTx as gas, and right to access scarce Network Builder Hex permit auctions by bidding or paying in WMTx. The strength is Weak because WMTx is required for World Mobile Chain gas and Hex auctions, but it is not the exclusive payment route for all valuable World Mobile resources, including phone plans and AirNode payouts.
Value Distribution
- Buyback Entitlement (Discretionary but Regular)
Right to receive WMTx rewards by staking WMTx, where the documented reward route includes World Mobile using customer revenue to buy WMTx from open markets and distribute acquired tokens to EarthNode operators and WMTx stakers. The staked or vault balance is only the activation mechanism. The mechanism is not Algorithmic or Guaranteed because buyback and reward routing remain treasury- and role-administered.
Membership
- Preferential Pricing (Hold-Based)
Right to receive rebates, lower effective prices or discounts on World Mobile services or hardware by locking WMTx into Premier Rewards tiers. The locked WMTx threshold activates phone-plan rewards, referral reward boosts and AirNode hardware discounts.
- Usage Quota Uplift
Right to receive higher Global Travel eSIM data allowances by locking WMTx into qualifying Premier Rewards tiers. The tier table lists data allowances of 1GB, 3GB, 5GB and 10GB. Scan-for-Points and referral boosts are not included in this row because they are reward-rate mechanics, not usage quota uplifts.
- Access Privilege
Right to access World Mobile-controlled priority or exclusive benefits by locking WMTx into Premier Rewards tiers. Qualifying benefits include priority AirNode sales, World Mobile team event access, insider access, priority customer support and Founders’ Club access. The Premier Rewards tier status is a folded activation mechanism of WMTx, not a separate token.
- Access Privilege [Exogenous]
Right to access third-party partner benefits through WMTx-locked Premier Rewards membership. The external benefits include Dragon Pass, Spotify access and partner discounts listed in the Premier Rewards table. These benefits are exogenous because the benefit provider is outside the World Mobile system boundary, even though access is gated through the World Mobile Premier Rewards lock.

Operating Model
<p>World Mobile has a Hybrid Operating Model. The off-chain side consists of mobile plans, customer accounts, billing systems, AirNode devices, operator dashboards and World Mobile legal entities that administer access, subscriptions and payouts. The on-chain side consists of World Mobile Chain, WMTx gas payments, staking contracts, reward accounting and Hex non-fungible token auctions. AirNodes carry subscriber traffic and pay operators from network usage, while World Mobile Chain records Internet Protocol Detail Records and settles telecom-related activity on-chain.</p>
Value Creation
<p>World Mobile has Hybrid Value Creation. Off-chain value is created by delivering connectivity through AirNode devices, subscriber phone plans, eSIM access, user accounts, local radio coverage and operator work. On-chain value is created by World Mobile Chain, which provides telecom-specific transaction execution, WMTx gas metering and daily settlement of subscriber usage records. Network Builder also combines on-chain Hex non-fungible token auctions with off-chain geographic deployment, user acquisition and verified AirNode operation. EarthNode staking and governance are not treated as live value-creation inputs because the relevant source materials describe them as activating shortly or future functionality.</p>
Value Capture
<p>World Mobile has Hybrid Value Capture and Routing, materially controlled by entity-administered components. Off-chain capture occurs when subscribers pay for phone plans, eSIMs or connectivity services through World Mobile billing and account systems, and when AirNode rewards are administered through World Mobile dashboards in USD or stablecoins. On-chain routing occurs through WMTx gas on World Mobile Chain, Hex auctions and staking reward contracts. Internet Protocol Detail Record-linked gas fees are covered by subscriber revenue and directed to World Mobile for operating costs and rewards. The MiCA whitepaper also describes local fiat telecom revenue entering World Mobile Treasury, being used to purchase WMTx, and then being distributed to EarthNode operators and WMTx stakers.</p>
